Orange County Sheriffs were contacted and responded to the scene, but Valentine allegedly fled before they arrived. Hugh Grant arrested for bean attack

Hugh Grant was arrested last night after a photographer accused him of attacking him with a container of baked beans. The photographer says Grant kicked him and verbally abused him on Tuesday morning before throwing the beans at him.

The Metropolitan Police don't identify suspects who haven't been charged, but said a 46-year-old man was arrested Wednesday night on suspicion of assault and released on bail. No charges have been filed, police said.

Rosie Is Out

Rosie O'Donnell is leaving "The View" after fulfilling her one-season contract. ABC just released this statement and Rosie will confirm on today's show at 11. ABC was unable to come to a contractual agreement for her second year and she will leave Mid-June.

Barbara Walter said: "I induced Rosie to come back to television on 'The View' even for just one year. She has given the program new vigor, new excitement and wonderful hours of television. I can only be grateful to her for this year. I am very sad that ABC Daytime could not reach an agreement with her for a second year. We will all miss Rosie on 'The View,' and hope she will be back with us often next season. She remains for me a cherished friend and colleague."

Rosie said: "This has been an amazing experience, and one I wouldn't have traded for the world. Working with Barbara, Joy and Elisabeth has been one of the highlights of my career, but my needs for the future just didn't dovetail with what ABC was able to offer me. Courtney Love Claims only diet

Courtney Love won't admit that she had some plastic surgery to drop the fat. She insists that it was all diet and exercise. Like anybody believed that.

A friend of Court's said that she's telling people close to her a different story. "She's telling people she got the gastric band surgery. She even said she had to sleep with a towel by her because the surgery makes her [vomit] all the time and is worried she won't be able to make out with anyone because of her breath."

Her rep denies of all this and insists it's all diet.

Jlo and Marc Anthony May get divorced

OK! magazine is saying Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are calling it quits because Anthony is too "controlling" and "suffocating" his wife.

I doubt this is true, but I like that they make Marc Anthony sound like some sort of jungle cat. It's not bad enough he looks the way he does, they have to describe him as an insane psycho person. It's like they copy and pasted an article about Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes and just replaced all the names.

Willa Ford is Anna Nicole Smith

An indie feature based on the life and times of Anna Nicole Smith will begin filming next week starring Willa Ford. Willa came out a few years ago and was dubbed "the bad Britney Spears," unfortunately her pop career didn't work out. Last season she was featured on "Dancing with the Stars."

The film called "Anna Nicole" will cover her life from 17 until the day of her death. Everything from her career as a Playboy centerford to a Guess girl to her son's death will be covered.

Paris Hilton shot a skit for the new MTV show "ShortCircuitz" which features Paris in a fake informercial selling "What Would Paris Do" bracelets.

Page Six reports:

"The action shifts from salesgirl Paris to "real-life" situations in which people look to their bracelets for advice. In one instance, a leggy blonde in a short skirt is busted for drunken driving. After checking her Hilton bracelet, she starts grinding on one of the cops as if he were a stripper pole. "I can't arrest you, you're too fabulous," says the officer. A few months ago, Hilton agreed to poke fun at herself and appear in the sketch, which was filmed at her house on Jan. 4, a source told Page Six."

Her lawyers threatened to sue MTV if the skit wasn't pulled from the premiere. This is what's probably going to happen. The skit won't air, but Paris will "leak" it herself and then make a big deal out of it and create more publicity for herself.

Scary Spice Has Baby

Scary Spice aka Melanie Brown gave birth to a baby girl just after midnight today at Saint John's Hospital in Santa Monica, CA. The girl's name is unknown, but she came in at 5 lb., 4 oz.

The paternity of the baby is still not known. Melanie says that Eddie Murphy is the baby daddy, but he denies it. It's his Birthday today too. Hmm....

Jessica Simpson and John Mayer arrived in Australia over the weekend. Before that they were in Italy where hotel guests were stunned at her cries of passion in the night.

A source said, "Jessica and John got back fairly early and stayed in all night. But by the sounds of it, they didn't get to sleep for a long time.

"This woman was saying she couldn't believe Jessica sounded like she was getting it on so loudly in the room next door."

My guess is the woman screaming loudly was probably John.

Nona Paris Lola Jackson claims that she is the baby momma of three of Michael Jackson's kids. The London-based crazy has filed papers in Los Angeles asking for shared-custody. Debbie Rowe is named on the birth certificate of Prince Michael I, Paris Michael and Prince Michael II (Blanket). Nona said, "Debbie's hospital records will prove that my kids are not hers because of DNA. I gave birth through the means of water birth because I am technically an herbalist."

Yes.......and Nona also claims she's the mother of Zahara, knows the cure for Cancer and that her vagina is the fountain of eternal youth.
