Keeping a Food Journal

I have been getting in the habit of keeping a food journal and it really makes me think twice about eating since I have to write it down. If I ate something that I know is so unhealthy, I stare are it on paper and wonder why did I eat that? I think that keeping a journal will make you realize how often you eat and wonder if you are really hungry, you can actually lose more weight this way.
