Unlocking mytouch 3G

I was on the phone with customer support for a while explaining to them why I want my phone unlocked, I want to use another sim card on the mytouch, that's all. I was told that i can get this done for free otherwise i would have to pay online for a site to unlock it for me They said it would take 2 hours, its going on 4, pretty tempting to get it done online for a price.
