Things we Dont Think About

Life for instance, I was thinking that when I have compnay over, are they really looking to see if my furniture or even Votive candle holders is really up to date, do they care that much about what things I have in my household? I would say yes because one of the first things people say is "oh that is sich a lovely so and so" right?
