Sony Vaio Notebooks

I am in need of a new notebook because I like to be mobile when I work online and get my jobs done. My old one has shutdown on me and works when it wants to. I am eyeing this Sony VAIO which I have heard so many people are loving. I have never had any experience but all I hear are good things so I am taking my chances.
