Eating slow can help lose weight

What is the main problem that we have once it comes to food and eating it? Not only do we make unhealthy choices, but we tend to eat our foods like its the last meal on earth. Studies have shown that people who eat slower feel fuller soon and consume less in the long run. This is because it gives the body time to send a signal letting us know when we are full. If you eat everything off your plate in less than 5 minutes, the signal doesn't have a chance to go off. We could be consuming twice as much foods as we are supposed to eat which means way more calories. Yikes! So eat slower, take time to enjoy the flavors of your dish and you will notice that you will feel full without overeating.
