Nicole Richie – Star Says: Yes!
Frail 83-pound Nicole is telling friends she’s indeed with child! A source says her beau, Joel Madden, insisted she go into rehab after he got the news. “If she didn’t get healthy for the baby’s sake,” say s a source, “he’d dump her!” So Nicole, 25, rushed into a Corona Del Mar, California rehab facility as an outpatient on May 11. Nicole Richie a mommy-to-be?
Sacha Baron Cohen & Isla Fisher – Star Says Yes!
Borat’s gonna be a daddy! As Star reported last week, Isla appeared to be aglow with pregnancy joy – and clearly bulging with a baby bump! – at L.A. International Airport on May 26. Fast-forward to June 3, at the MTV Movie Awards when a friend of the couple reportedly slipped and said, “Congratulations on the baby.” Sacha responded, “Thank you!” And an insider reportedly has since confirmed that Isla’s due this winter!
Halle Berry – Star Says: Trying!
Since turning 40, Halle has had babies on the brain! “My sights are set on motherhood. I can’t wait much longer.” While there’s no baby news yet for her and model beau, Gabriel Aubry, a wedding ring is hardly a pre-pregnancy requirement for Halle, who famously declared that she would, “Never ever get married again!” A source reveals, “They’re not going to get married just because she’s pregnant.”
Christina Aguilera – Star Says: Yes!
Sources say Christina discovered that she was 9 weeks pregnant just days before hubby, Jordan Bratman’s 30th birthday on June 4. An insider reveals to Star, “Jordan was blown away! He told her the baby was the greatest present ever!” An insider says, “Christina’s always been maternal. There’s no doubt Christina will make a fabulous mother.”
Katie Holmes & Tom Cruise– Star Says: Trying!
Baby Suri, is just a bit more than a year old, but Katie is already eager to get pregnant all over again! “Yes, definitely!” Katie said recently when asked if she’d like to have more children.
Drea De Matteo – Star Says: Yes!
Drea, and musician beau, Shooter Jennings, are expecting their first child in late 2007, and she was recently spotted stocking up on maternity clothes at NYC’s Veronique Maternity. No word yet on the baby’s gender, but here’s the big question: Will Tony Soprano be the godfather?
Victoria Beckham – Star Says: Trying!
After having three sons with soccer-star hubby, Posh want a change! “We would absolutely love to have a little girl,” she says. She’s put her man on a “baby girl” diet: no red meat and lots of alkaline-rich eats like fish. Becks is keeping his left arm ink-free for “the name or names of our daughter or any other children we have.”
