She was discharged this afternoon and has been advise to take complete rest. All scheduled performances are now postponed." Winehouse initially sparked concerns for her health after canceling a string of concerts last month, citing "exhaustion" and was ordered by doctors to rest.

Britney Spears Wild Night

Britney Spears allegedly spent a wild night partying with extras from her latest music video and ended up making out topless with one of them. Matt Encinias, a 21-year-old college student, says she invited him and some other extras to the rooftop pool at the Standard Hotel and then had everyone play a game of topless truth or dare. Drunk and easy, Britney eventually ended up making out with this guy. Us reports:

Although Spears was expecting her two young sons to be dropped off at her Beverly Hills home at noon, the singer had arranged to have the pool reopened at 2 am for the exclusive use of her group, which included then-assistant Shannon Funk and some hand-picked male extras from her video shoot.
“Britney was the first one to undress, and then everyone else followed,” Encinias tells Us. “I turned around and saw that she was topless and she had fake tattoos of flowers on her nipples from the shoot. I was told all she wanted to do that night was kiss a boy. And that’s what she did. Mission accomplished.”

It was when the alcohol started running low that an inebriated Spears, 25, suggested a game of Truth or Dare. “I was dared to get naked and get out of the pool and walk as though I was on a catwalk in a fashion show,” says Encinias. “Britney was laughing really hard.”

New Face of American Express

R&B superstar Beyonce Knowles has become the new face of American Express, according to reports. The singer - who already endorses products by Pepsi, L'Oreal and McDonald's among others - will front the new advertising campaign for the financial giants, joining the likes of actors Robert De Niro and Kate Winslet, and sports stars Tiger Woods and Venus Williams.

A source tells OK! magazine, "She's a role model for so many young people. She has tremendous cross-over appeal the same way Tiger Woods does. She's an inspiration for lots of people. She's a great fit for American Express."

Justin and Beyonce Leads in Nominations

Justin Timberlake and Beyonce Knowles will lead the pack at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards, after receiving seven nominations each. Rihanna and Kanye West also have multiple nominations with five apiece, while British star Amy Winehouse collected three nods at a nominations launch held in New York.

Timberlake's "What Goes Around...", Knowles' "Irreplaceable", Rihanna's "Umbrella", West's "Stronger" and Winehouse's "Rehab" are all up for Video Of The Year, alongside Justice's "D.A.N.C.E." West, Timberlake, Akon, Robin Thicke and T.I. are nominated for Male Artist Of The Year, while Winehouse, Knowles, Rihanna, Fergie and Nelly Furtado are fighting it out for Female Artist Of The Year.

Best New Artist nominees are Winehouse, Carrie Underwood, Gym Class Heroes, Lily Allen and Peter, Bjorn And John. Rihanna's globe-conquering Jay-Z collaboration, "Umbrella," is also one of 10 singles nominated for Monster Single Of The Year. The awards will be handed out at Las Vegas' Palms Casino Resort on September 9.

Lohan Checks Into Rehab....Again

Lindsay Lohan has reportedly checked into rehab in Utah. The actress, who disappeared from the limelight following her second drunk-driving arrest in three months in July, has entered the Cirque Lodge alcohol rehab in Sundance, Utah, according to U.S. sources. The facility is the same intense rehabilitation program both David Hasselhoff and Mary-Kate Olsen used to help them battle abuse issues. The Lodge was recently named one of the best rehabs in America by Town & Country magazine. This is the third rehab facility Lohan has checked into this year after stints at Wonderland and Promises in California. Of course nothing is allowed including jewelry and many other items form outside of the facility.
