Kids and Chores

When it comes time to give kids chores, figuring out who does what is the hardest part. Giving them chores teaches them about responsibility and how hard you have to work if there is compensation involved. I made the mistake of not letting my oldest do this from an early age and was harder but we all the hang of it and do our chores as we are assigned. I find that having a chart helps in knowing who is assigned to what. Changing chore duties makes it less of a hassle when you know that each week is something different.
