Twitter Crashes

Word around the web is that twitter was hijacked and the site was down for a few hours. I wonder what the (twits) was left to do while they could not twitter every 5 seconds to one another? Read a book, watch tv? Take care of their kids? lol. Seriously, many people are addicted to that thing, maybe it was a short wake up call.
