Drugs and sex in Rehab

Lindsay Lohan was reportedly caught taking drugs and having sex in rehab and has been warned she'll be thrown out if she doesn't stay clean. She was forced to take a drug test by the staff at Utah's Cirque Lodge rehab facility and the results came back positive. A source says:

"Lindsay got called into the director's office on August 15 and was questioned about drugs. When ordered to take a drug test, she reluctantly complied but screamed and cursed at the medical director before storming out the room. She was told that if she couldn't conform to the programme she'd have to leave."

According to reports, Lindsay was also said to have been caught having sex in a toilet stall with a male patient. She's also frequently late to meetings and refuses to do any chores or tasks such as washing up.

Michael Vick publicly apologizes and finds Jesus

NFL player Michael Vick made a statement today regarding his part in an illegal dogfighting ring, apologizing to everyone and saying that he's found Jesus. TMZ reports:

Vick wasn't specific about the acts he was sorry for, but declared, “Dogfighting is a terrible thing. I reject it.” Between apologies to everyone from NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank - to all the kids who used to look up to him, Vick declared that he's found Jesus and has turned his life over to God. “I was ashamed and totally disappointed in myself, to say the least. I want to apologize to all the young kids out there for my immature acts. What I did was very immature, so that means I need to grow up. I totally ask for forgiveness and understanding as I move forward to be a better Michael Vick the person, not the football player.”

Mistaken for Homeless Man

Samuel L. Jackson was mistaken for a homeless person after straying off the set of his new movie in full costume and make-up. Jackson plays a former boxer who finds himself homeless in Resurrecting The Champ and admits his on-set look was so convincing, fellow vagrants thought he was also seeking shelter. He says, "I was walking around, smoking cigarettes and these guys thought I was one of them and then when we went to the shelter to eat for the lunch scene with Josh Hartnett, I kind of fooled a lot of people there too."

Nicole Richie Released From Jail

That’s 82 minutes including processing. Splash News is reporting she spent a total of 30 minutes behind bars. The LA County Sheriff’s department said she was cooperative the entire time, yeah right.

"On August 23 2007, at 3:15 PM Miss Nicole Camille Richie reported to CRDF and surrendered herself following a July 27 arrest, she was sentenced to serve 96 hours in County Jail. Miss Richie was accompanied by her attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley and her boyfriend Joel Madden. Miss Richie was booked and processed into the jail system. Miss Richie was cooperative during the process. Based on her sentence and federal court guidelines, Miss Richie was released at 4:37 PM today"

Lindsay Lohan May Not Be Charged

Law enforcement sources tell there is a “strong possibility” the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office will not file felony charges against Lindsay Lohan in connection with her two DUI arrests.The charges may be filed tomorrow, and the D.A. is leaning toward rejecting three possible felonies. Sources say the D.A. almost certainly will not file cocaine charges in connection with her DUI bust Memorial Day weekend in Beverly Hills.

As for her July 24 arrest in Santa Monica, the D.A. could charge her with felony cocaine possession, and bringing cocaine into a correctional facility — also a felony. Howeever, TMZ was told that the D.A. is inclined not to file those felony charges either. If Lohan is not charged with a felony, she is not required to attend Friday’s arraignment.

Jackie Chan's new action comedy Rush Hour 3 has been banned in China, despite his status as a national hero. The Hong Kong-born actor's film has prompted controversy in recent weeks over a scene where a family involved in organized crime visit Paris. But the state-run Film Bureau insists the decision to block the movie's release was taken for commercial reason, even though the first two movies in the franchise were box office hits.

Merv Griffin: 1925-2007

Merv Griffin, the entertainer who started out as an actor and singer but found fame as a talk show host and a successful businessman, died Sunday of prostate cancer; he was 82. Griffin had been inititally diagnosed with cancer in 1996, and it was just announced recently that he was battling it again.

Griffin started out as a singer in San Francisco, and soon became successful enough to start his own record label and launch a performing career; he scored a number one hit with the novelty song "I've Got a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts." His nightclub performances brought him to the attention of Warner Bros. studio, and he later was featured in a handful of films in the early 50s, including So This Is Love. He also appeared on a number of game shows and talk shows, and his stint as a substitute host for Jack Paar on The Tonight Show led to an offer for his own talk show in 1962.

The Merv Griffin Show ran until 1986, won numerous Emmy awards, and made him a permanent fixture on television screens across America as the host of one of the biggest talk shows of the era. Griffin earned his fortune, however, by inventing and producing two of TV's biggest game shows, Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune, both of which skyrocketed in popularity when going into sydication in the 80s. He also was a successful real estate magnate, who bought and refurbished the Beverly Hills Hilton and acquired Resorts International. Griffin, who was married to Julann Griffin from 1958-1976, is survived by his son, Tony.

Inside Lindsays Rehab

Former patient by the name of Jane P. has given TV show The Insider a run-down of what life is like for Lindsay Lohan inside Utah's Cirque Lodge rehab facility. Jane P. says that upon Lohan's arrival, "we were given a complete rundown of things we could not do or say due to the confidentiality at the time we are staying there." She says Lohan "had not attended any group meetings, other than the AA meeting, and she was supposedly given a private room."


At 9 and 9:30 there are group meetings, which the patients are required to attend lest they lose privileges, including access to snacks. There is some kind of talk at 10 am. At 1 and 4 pm there are more mandatory activities, including horseback riding and gardening. Then dinner and a 12-step program meeting. Patients have an hour of free-time at night, then it's off to bed at 11.

Jane also adds that Lohan's presence has made many at the rehab center "uncomfortable," and that after the first day she arrived there, Lohan "hasn't been seen."

It was when the alcohol started running low that an inebriated Spears, 25, suggested a game of Truth or Dare. “I was dared to get naked and get out of the pool and walk as though I was on a catwalk in a fashion show,” says Encinias. “Britney was laughing really hard.”

Justin and Beyonce Leads in Nominations

Justin Timberlake and Beyonce Knowles will lead the pack at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards, after receiving seven nominations each. Rihanna and Kanye West also have multiple nominations with five apiece, while British star Amy Winehouse collected three nods at a nominations launch held in New York.

Timberlake's "What Goes Around...", Knowles' "Irreplaceable", Rihanna's "Umbrella", West's "Stronger" and Winehouse's "Rehab" are all up for Video Of The Year, alongside Justice's "D.A.N.C.E." Lohan Checks Into Rehab....Again

Lindsay Lohan has reportedly checked into rehab in Utah. The actress, who disappeared from the limelight following her second drunk-driving arrest in three months in July, has entered the Cirque Lodge alcohol rehab in Sundance, Utah, according to U.S. sources. The facility is the same intense rehabilitation program both David Hasselhoff and Mary-Kate Olsen used to help them battle abuse issues. The Lodge was recently named one of the best rehabs in America by Town & Country magazine. This is the third rehab facility Lohan has checked into this year after stints at Wonderland and Promises in California. Of course nothing is allowed including jewelry and many other items form outside of the facility.
