This one of AMC's series that I have to admit I enjoy so much. I thought it was going to be your typical zombie bring show, but it is so much more and because of that I tune in whenever it airs. If you love shows or movies where it's about what would you do to survive in the case of an out break, this show will let you see what its like to survive, or try to survive.

I have direct Tv at home and I watch way more crime dramas than you would think someone sane would. I’m not just talking about CSI I’m talking about Medium and Criminal Minds and everything in between. I just don’t know why I’m so obsessed with these shows but I think it has something to do with the fact that I always wanted to be a police officer but never did. I think it’s so much fun trying to solve a crime and I know that at the end of the day I would make a really good police officer. I think my husband thinks I’m crazy because I watch so many of these shows and some of them are actually kind of gory but you know, that’s just something they do to draw in more viewers. I could do without the blood but I have to say it does make it a whole lot more realistic at the end of the day and that’s okay with me, you know? That’s what I like.

Is the Internet killing cable TV

There are so many things accessable on the internet these days that it makes me wonder is it even worth it to continue with cable? Between Netflix and official websites having the shows on the site for fans to view, it makes it easy and cheap to cut out the middle man altogether. Sites like Hulu and network sites have shows that you can just click and watch on your free time, I love it.

Fast POS Hardware

I have been to some stores, mainly department stores and have noticed that they do not have up-to-date check out system. The problem is that many customers do not want to wait on a line where it takes forever to get their receipt on their purchases because they need a fast POS Hardware. This site has different scans and machines that will be useful and faster than most hardware that is out in the market. Next time I go shopping and run into such problems, I will just send them that link haha!

Winter in New York

So far we have had a pretty good winter and by pretty good I mean no snow, well nothing that sticks anyways. It is still to early to tell because it is still February, but we are hoping no snow storm at all, especially since many of us are still scarred from the snowstorm in 2010-11. That was horrible and the worst we have seen in ages.

Skiing year round

I love the idea that if I wanted to go skiing, no matter what time of the year it is or weather, that I can find places that offer slopes that I can satisfy my need to ski. I am the type that loves to go shopping for the gear, I make sure that I have everything needed especially my ski goggles. I love the excitement I get on these getaways and just going down the slopes, it's an experience everyone should feel.

Walking each day for 10,000 steps have been shown that it equals to an active person. Use a pedometer, which you can get at amazon.com, and see how many steps that you actually walk. This is great if you are not moving around ona daily basis, these steps will ensure that you get your body moving.

Have you ever noticed the way movies seem longer than they are sometimes? I was using our http://www.tvbydirect.com/directv-deal/Laredo-MISSOURI-MO-direct-tv.html to watch a movie just the other day. It was one I had seen once in the movies, but that I had not seen since. I think it is called the Holiday. It is about two women who switch homes for two weeks to escape from their lives. It is interesting because the things they try to escape end up coming and finding them. They face their challenges and by the end of the movie, the two women really prove themselves to be strong, independent women. When I first saw the movie, I did not think it was very long. It seemed as if we were hardly in the movie theater at all. When I watched it recently on the TV, it seemed much longer. It is possible it has something to do with how focused I was when I watched the movie the two different times. Whatever the case, it really surprises me the way in which we perceive time sometimes. It changes all the time in life and even watching a movie shows that.

New Year, New Shows

One of the things that I do look forward to is new shows and seeing whats interesting to watch. I am a very picky person and it would take a nice plot and storylines to keep me entertained, but the thing is I have a habit of not giving certain shows a chance because of how it looks when I first view it. People would recommend shows to me and tell me oh my it is so good and the best and so and so, but I need to make that decision myself, usually if a lot of people like it and it gets rave reviews, I will most likely enjoy it as well. So here is to new shows to entertain me and keep me interested!

The best Prom Dress

When I think about proms and dances, I know that the main thing is all about the perfect prom dress. I remember my prom and how I told my mom how I wanted my dress to look. It was beautiful and the right one really does make a difference. I always look back at the pictures, I was so happy, I guess my date was ok , but it really is all about the dress haha.

Ready for New Year?

It just actually hit me that the year is almost over, I mean what exactly did I do this year? It went by so darn fast! I sat back and thought about what happened in my life and others around and it is pretty much the same crap lol. Well here is to 2012 being something more and last as long and not go by so fast.

Where has it gone and what have we done, I could pretty much sum up this year in a very small paragraph, lol, which is kind of sad. The thing is my daily life is pretty much the same each day and I love it, love the routine and the people who I get to share it with and we have been good all year long!

Break time Over

I finally took a much-needed break from well, everything. DH took over things and I just relaxed, yes I know how to actually do that now and it feels great! I took some time to myself, actually read AND finished a book, could you believe that? Did very little housework because the kids and everyone took over and saw how "easy" it was to do, very hilarious but they did do a very good job. I am back in full effect now and ready to get back into the swing of things, so much has happened, good and bad, mostly good. Feels good to be back!
