Lindsay Lohan is Leaving Rehab!

Lindsay Lohan will be spending five days of “quality time” with her father next week (begs01Oct07) - in a secret location away from her Utah rehabilitation clinic, according to reports.

Her mother Dina recently insisted the star’s third stint in rehab will not be coming to an end any time soon, despite reports to the contrary, and now ex-convict Michael says he will be whisking Lindsay away as part of the rehab centre’s out-patient therapy programme. He tells the New York Daily News, “I’m looking forward to spending the next week with her. We’ve been in constant phone contact. She’s in a great, great place now. I’ve never heard her so honest, contrite and focused. “Lindsay is weeding out all the bad. She’s taking a step back and reevaluating her life. What she tells - her honesty and openness - has brought me to tears.

Hopefully Lindsay can get on the right track and set an example for the other young hollywood actresses. Nothing wrong with staying home and playing your PS2.

Owen Wilson is Doing Better

Troubled actor Owen Wilson is “doing really well” following his suicide attempt, according to his best friend Ben Stiller. Wilson was hospitalised in August after making an attempt on his life at his Santa Monica, California home. He is now back at home and being looked after by a paid ‘companion’ - and Stiller reveals he is making a good recovery.

The actor tells talk show host Ellen DeGeneres - in a programme aired on Friday past - “He’s doing really well. I sort of like to protect his privacy, ’cause I feel like it’s his own thing.

“But he’s a really good friend of mine. He’s an incredible guy and I wish him as everybody does, all the best.”.

Lindsay Lohan stole coke from Steve-O

It sounds like an opening to a joke, but yeah it happened. Steve-O was on Howard Stern yesterday and told listeners about Lindsay’s heist. Page Six reports:

"Lohan took what he called the "Boog Suge" from him after she forgot her wallet in his bathroom and came back to his place to get it. There's even proof she was there - Lohan had to sign a release while at Steve-O's house for a DVD he was filming at the time."

Justin Cancels Shows

Justin Timberlake confessed he canceled two recent concerts because he was “hungover.”He was due to perform gigs in Sacramento and San Jose, California earlier this month, but canceled both at the eleventh hour - sending the rumor mill into a spin. Justin can be seen in some photos with Samsonite luggage. Reports he had strained his voice after performing at the MTV Video Music Awards were replaced by claims he had partied too hard.

He told his San Jose, California audience on Sunday: “Certain bloggers said I canceled because I was hungover and they were right… I was.”

Joe Simpson Talks

In an interview with Fox News, Joe says he had no control over Ashlee’s decision to undergo rhinoplasty. “Girls have their own ideas,” he shrugged. “Anyway, there was a real problem with her breathing and that was cured.”

Joe, who also serves as manager to Ashlee and Jessica credits good parenting as the reason his daughters haven’t gone the way of Lindsay Lohan or Britney Spears. “We have a real family,” he said. “You can’t just put these kids out in the world and they’re on their own. I can remember a time when Jessica was singing at Madison Square Garden and her outfit ripped before she went on. We were there for her.”

And then there was Ashlee’s Saturday Night Live debacle. “She’d lost her voice, and Jordan Schur [then the head of her record label] insisted she lip-synch,” he said. “She’d never done it before. She didn’t want to do it. Anyway, she’ll never do it again. We just did a huge tour, and there was no lip-synching.”

He also denies claims that he’s a controlling father. “I don’t tell my girls who to date or marry or what to do.”

He also has no hard feelings against former son-in-law Nick Lachey. “I have nothing against Nick,” he told me. “But they got married very young. I told Jessica, ‘You’re going to hit an age when it’s all going to be clear to you — life that is — and you’ll know what you want to do.’” Joe added: “I do blame 50 percent of their break-up on the media.”

This hot new show has premiered Wednesday September 19 and I love it. Here is what you should know and why you should watch. It was created by Josh Schwartz who is the genius behind the O.C., and Stephanie Savage. The show is based on the novel series by Cecily von Ziegesar. The series is narrated by "Gossip Girl" (voiced by Kristen Bell. Its about that time for Paris to have a new guy in her life, after all it is a new season right? Plans to Adopt a Baby from BURMA!

According to DailyMail, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt want to expand their “rainbow” family by adopting a child from Burma.

The couple have enlisted the help of one of the country’s leading monks to plan a trip to an orphanage. According to an insider, Angelina, 32, has become “increasingly despondent” about the progress she is making in helping the Third World.

She is said to be desperate to offer help to troubled nations, and feels the repressive Republic of Myanmar, or Burma, is the ideal place to adopt another child – preferably, a girl. Angie is helping those that needs the help and market research shows other celebs will do the same and adopt in foreign countries

Rose McGowan was being considered for a starring role in “Speed Racer,” but the studio felt her plastic surgery left her unrecognizable. NY Daily News reports:

McGowan, 34, has admitted to having plastic surgery for an eye injury related to a car accident. But casting skeptics suspect she has had much more done, and that it cost her the role. "The studio felt like she was hard to recognize and worried that by the time the movie hit theaters, fans might not know who she was," says our insider.
Rose wasn’t the only one passed over. Zac Efron was up for the title role, but wasn’t the right fit:

”During his auditions, Zac never connected to the romantic lead in the reading,” says our source. “By the second round, the casting crew didn't feel he was believable as a leading man/hero.”

Britney Spears is starving herself and may be bulimic as well. Friends of the star are concerned about her eating habits, according to Ok! Magazine:

OK! can report that friends of the beleaguered pop star are worried sick that her starve-and-bing relationship with food may be pushing her even deeper into despair.
“Britney told me, ‘I’ll starve myself because I’m fat,’” one friend of the singer reveals to OK!. “She kept telling me she thought I was fat and disgusting.”

Brady Bunch” star Maureen McCormick - who played the TV family’s oldest girl Marcia Brady - will reveal in a new tell-all book how she had a steamy on-set sexual relationship with the co-star who played her younger sister Jan. Lindsay who is currently being treated for drink and drug addiction at Utah’s Cirque Lodge rehab centre - allegedly had sex with Tony Allen in a toilet at the clinic. Stephanie Allen - the mother of Tony’s eight-month-old twins Blake and Lakeland - has been left devastated by the claims and has kicked her husband out of their Georgia home.

George Clooney in motorcycle accident

George Clooney was involved in an accident this afternoon after the motorcycle he was driving was hit by a car. He was treated for a hairline fracture of a rib and road rash at Palisades Medical Center in Palisades, NJ.

His girlfriend, Sarah Lawson, who was riding on the motorcycle with Clooney, suffered a broken foot. Clooney and Lawson were released shortly after entering the facility.

Spears To Appear at Primetime Emmys?

Britney Spears is in talks to appear at the Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday - just one week after her poor performance at the MTV Video Music Awards, according to reports. Spears is said to be "in negotiations" with American TV network Fox to put in an appearance on the show, although nothing has been agreed just yet. A source at Fox tells Usmagazine.com, "The idea is to have her come on and apologise for the VMAs. She's weighing the offer." Another source close to Spears adds, "I can't say this is 100 per cent not true.

Kelsey Grammer Vows to Speak for Sister

Actor Kelsey Grammer is vowing to come to Colorado and speak for his sister if the man who killed her more than 30 years ago makes a bid for parole. Fifty-year-old Freddie Lee Glenn is serving three life terms for several crimes, including the 1975 murder of 18-year-old Karen Grammer in Colorado Springs.

Police say Glenn and two other men kidnapped her as she walked into the Red Lobster restaurant where she worked — after they attempted to rob it. Glenn later slit Grammer’s throat. He was convicted of murder, second-degree kidnapping and armed robbery. Glenn was sentenced to death, but his sentence was commuted to life in prison due to changes in laws. He’ll be eligible for parole in January. Grammer says he’s still angry about Glenn. He also says he never had a chance to speak for his sister before, but will now if Glenn tries to get out of prison. Glenn has until December to decide whether to waive or pursue the January parole hearing.
